Yiiiiikakaii - Voice of Waste

 

„In 1995 I heard the Voice of Waste for the first time. When I was out of myself, very quiet and lonely with a lot of pictures on my mind. In trying to arrange the pictures in my memory, I saw the first Yiiiiikakaii Mask, made of different waste materials and dried leaves. 

Each mask is a unique collection of a different mental energy and world outlook. It depicts diverse images that capture and express life in today’s world and does not embody or evoke any negative metaphysical connotation."
